The world-wide "Open Educational Resources" (OER) project says it is all about sharing. Their web site home page says: "In a brave new world of learning, OER content is made free to use or share, and in some cases, to change and share again, made possible through licensing, so that both teachers and learners can share what they know." Interestingly as of July 2010 the OER site has a list of 215 high school and college level free digital books available online with educator and user ratings of them. Perhaps someone else in a non English First Language speaking country could take the time to translate such books into the native language of students in their country...
