In the Education section of the Thursday April 11, 2013 (13.04.11) New York Times, reporter Tamar Lewin revealed that there are expensive fees to pay a state when an accredited academic institution offers credit courses to out-of-state students! With the accelerating emergence of MOOCs and other forms of inter-state (and international) online education which offer some courses for high school or college credit, these fees may surpass those of normal student tuition and fees! The CRPDE panel founded in 2012 has recommended changes in the out-of-state student fees and policies.
