The camera pans, tilts and zooms. Costing $600 as of Dec. 2010, the device appears to be an excellent device to use in a school district office or a school's auditorium for web conferences. To video conference, the location with the Umi must also use Google video chat. Therefore the Internet connection to the location is either via a cable tv+internet connection (i.e. over a coax cable) or via a high-bandwidth telephone line.
