Tips and Tutorials

The following are tutorial articles and (also there will be) Moodle-based courses located on this web site about content management systems (CMSes) and their uses to create distance learning (DL) web sites.  Initially such articles and any courses will be about using the Joomla CMS for such purposes.

The level of instruction for educators will be: "computer phobic", "computer novice", "computer literate" (or competent), and "computer experts", assuming in all cases the 'student' has little or no in-depth technical knowledge and experience as computer programmers or system installers.

Future technical and procedural articles and tutorials about DL (and about ITS as well) will be addressed to bona-fide, experienced: "systems administrators", "computer programmers", "computer systems designers", "web site designers", "web site builders", "computer science students" at the senior and graduate levels in academia as well as for professionals in those fields.  Ideally, eventually, there could be helpful educational resources here, perhaps also model courses or lessons, for college level instructors in those fields as well.
